A candidate who has passed the Q. E. with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology as optiona l subjects with English as one of the languages ofstudy and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects in the Q. E. is eligiblefor courses. 40% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, Category-I and OBC Category candidates. Providedthat, the marks obtained by the candidate in Bio-Technology / Biology in the Q. E., will beconsidered in place of Chemistry, in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for required aggregatepercentage, only for the purpose of determination of eligibility

Eligibility for Engineering for PG Courses:
 
MBA
  • The candidate shall have passed qualified examination with not less than 50% of the aggregate marks of all the years of degree examination.
  • For SC/ST/Category of Karnataka students the aggregate percentage of marks shall not be less than 45%.
MCA
  • The candidate shall have passé the bachelor degree not less than 50% and the aggregate marks of all the years of degree examination except for SC/ST and other category of Karnataka students not less than 45%.
  • The candidate should have passed Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Programming/ Computer Applications/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects.
M.Tech
  • The candidate shall have passed with minimum of 50% of marks in the qualifying examination of the respective branches and for SC/ST/Category for Karnataka students not less than 45%.
Ph.D Programme
  • The candidate shall have passed with minimum of 50% of marks in the qualifying examination of the respective branches and for SC/ST/Category for Karnataka students not less than 45% to register as Ph.D candidate.
Admissions
  • Applicants from India must send Rs 500/- Cheque / Demand Draft / Bank Draft along with application.
  • Applicants from outside India must send 15 USD Demand Draft / Bank Draft along with application.
  • On receiving the above amount, EWIT brochure will be mailed by post to your specified address.
Guidelines to be followed for making payment for application form:
Application Form should be submitted with a Demand Draft / Bank Draft drawn in favour of "East West Institute of Technology, Bangalore" along with a covering letter.
