Research and Development

 The Department has established a fully fledged research centre as 3 recognized guides and 4 research scholars perceiving doctoral studies.

During the academic year 2011 the AICTE as sanctioned a grant to upgrade the lab infrastructure facilities with the increased intake from 90 to 120. The Department envisaged an elaborate expansion plan both at the following strength and upgrading the existing laboratory due to the increased intake.

More research proposal to various research organization have been submitted during academic year 2012 and awaiting a positives response.     

Since most of the faculty members are pursuing these research works in the Research Centre at EWIT and with a total intake of 120 UG students and 18 PG students in the discipline of machine design form the core team of researchers.
